Il Mezzodì è un vino fresco e vibrante che asseconda il carattere autentico del sangiovese, esaltando le sue espressioni più tipiche di vendemmia in vendemmia.

Altitude: 550 m.s.l.

Vinification: After pressing and destemming, fermentation starts; the whole maceration on skins process takes place in steel tanks and it lasts 15 days during which daily punch-down and pump-over are carried out.

Ageing: At least 8 months in steel tanks on its fine lees and at least 3 months of bottle ageing.

Winemaker’s note: Mezzodì is the perfect wine to appreciate the essence of each vintage of my “mountain” Sangiovese.  Mezzodì has all the most typical features of this variety: freshly picked notes of cherry, plum and violet. On the palate its freshness coexists with its structure which is held together by tannins;  this gives it a double character which allows it to be paired not only with simple and light foods but also complex and intense dishes.
