La Val d'Orcia

Where the world’s most beautiful wine is produced

Val d’Orcia with its iconic landscape of cypresses and sinuous hills needs no introduction. Campotondo is right there, more precisely in Campiglia d’Orcia, a medieval hamlet that dominates the valley from above. It’s a natural panoramic terrace over Val d’Orcia.

A Landscape that is one of a kind

Between Val d’Orcia and Monte Amiata

Our vineyards are situated in a spectacular location, right between the mountain side and the valley slope, with a view over some of the most characteristic hamlets of the area: Pienza, Rocca d’Orcia and Bagno Vignoni.

Cultivating the land here means keeping intact that unique landscape that distinguishes Val d’Orcia, a place where nature meets humankind. This special encounter of man and nature has modelled such impressive landscape architecture that the area has been recognized as a Unesco World Heritage site.

Since 2000, thanks to the introduction of the Denomination of Origins Orcia, this area has been recognized as the production area for the Orcia DOC wines.
